The service is led by one of the ministers belonging to the Romford Town Centre fraternal. On arrival you will be offered a candle and during the service there is an Act of Remembrance when those who wish to, may come to the front of the church and light a candle in remembrance of a loved one. We are sometimes asked whether we read out the names of those cremated or buried within the borough in the preceding months. Sadly, since this could be around 1600 names, time does not permit.
All ages are welcome and extra candles are always available. There is wheelchair access and individual chairs can be removed to allow wheelchair users to select where they would like to be seated.
